Jamie's EEG Update

Unfortunately, Jamie will not be able to taper off of Keppra.  Her neurologist just called and informed me that there are still activity in the occipital area of her brain.  Jamie was really hoping to stop taking that "icky" medicine.  On a positive note, she's still on the same dose she started with back in 2008 in spite of adding inches and pounds.  We are still very encouraged that her epilepsy will go away eventually.  In two years, provided she stays seizure free, she will have another EEG.
